Tommy, one of my Greyhounds is a certified Therapy Dog at Palos Community Hospital in Palos Heights. Once a week we visit the staff and patients to lift their spirits.
Tommy has quite a "harem" of nurses and staff that smother him with love every time we visit.
As we walk out the door to leave, Tommy keeps looking back because he doesn't want to leave.
He makes lots of patients smile and brightens the day for the staff. Thank you to Trina Grosse and Tommy for not only this article but also the work they do helping out at the Hospital making peoples day that bit better. Well done!
