Friday 20th July:
There was no winner of the Youghal Track Supporters Club Lotto last Friday 20th July. The numbers
drawn were 1, 16 and 24 . Next week’s jackpot climbs to €3,250. The following people won €20 in the
lucky dip draw: Mary Kenny, Noel Fleming, Bill Kennedy, Aileen Swayne and Margaret Howard.
The fine weather drew one of the largest crowds ever seen at Youghal Track last Friday night 20th July.
The success of the free entry to racing is beginning to take shape and we would like to thank all
attendees for their continued support. The highlight of the race card was the final of the Bob Daly
Memorial A3 525 stake. The William Kelleher owned and trained Corrin Hook finished well to win with
half a length to spare. Congratulations to William and thanks to the Daly family for their continued
support to the track.
A big thank you to all volunteers who have helped out with the clean up at the track over the last few
weeks. The fruits of their hard labour is being admired by many and has exceeded our expectations through
the dedication of our volunteers each week. A final clean up is planned for this coming Thursday 26th July
so paint brushes at the ready for one last burst! The clean up will commence at 7pm and all volunteers
are welcome.

Friday 27th July:
There was no winner of the Youghal Track Supporters Club Lotto last Friday 27th July.
The numbers drawn were 7, 8 and 14 . Next week’s jackpot climbs to €3,400. The following people won €20 in
the lucky dip draw: Aaron Spillane, John Coughlan, Owen c/o Ken Busteed, John Crowley and Paidi Walsh.
Last Friday saw a big crowd in attendance with the continuation of our free entry to racing. The highlight
of the night's racing was the final of the Shanagarry A4 525 Stake Final. The final was won in fine style
with a superb run from the Jim Kelly and Eric O'Neill owned and trained Come to Papa, who crossed the line
with 4 lengths to spare. Congratulations to Jim and Eric on their fine win. (I have attached a photo of
Pat Walsh presenting the prize to Keith Kelly after Come to Papa won the Shanagarry A4 Stake in Youghal).

A lot of time and effort has gone into cleaning up the existing facilities and it was great to see the
enthusiasm and spirit of all volunteers who helped out for the good of their local track.

prize of €3,000 on offer for the final winner.

There was no winner of the Youghal Greyhound Track Supporters Club weekly lotto last Friday 3rd August.
The numbers drawn were 14, 33 and 36. Next week’s jackpot climbs to €3550. The following people won €20 in
our lucky dip draw: Fr. P. Lawton, Martin Reilly, Seán Regan, Amy O’Connor and Kathleen Beirne.
A huge crowd was in attendance at the track last Friday 3rd August. The highlight of Friday’s race card was
the first round of the Makeshift Southern Oaks Competition which is kindly sponsored by the Frightful Flash
Kennels and Liam Marks. Blue Jet Sky, Madam Shaw, Gael Taca and Race on Nina in a dead heat won their
respective heats. The best run of the night with a superb time of 28.73 also saw Barack Patsy advance to the
next round.

Youghal Track Supporters Club A8/A9 525 for dogs with at least 1 race ran in Youghal. 1st round commences
10th August
The finals of all stakes will take place on August 17th in conjunction with the Makeshift Southern Oaks Final.
